Dodge's "pony car" is back to fight it out with the Mustang and the new Camaro with a vengeance! The new car was inspired by the iconic 1970 model and in my opinion Chrysler's Dodge Division succeeded more with the retro look than GM's Chevy Camaro. As Dodge claims in their sales brouchure "2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8. The perfect incarnation of the ultimate modern-day muscle car." I would not go as far as that, but with the 6.1L Hemi V8 425 hp with tire frying 420 lb-ft torque should be a potent stop light racer and will do well at the local drag strip.
