12th Annual Indianapolis Air Show 2008 -- August 23-24, 2008 Mt. Comfort Airport

The 12th Annual Indianapolis Air Show (first time for me but certainly not the last time) was the best air show I have attended in 2008. For a review of the show please read my article posted at http://airshowsreview.com/2008-IndyAirshowreview.htm

I would like to thank particularly two of the organizers: first, Guy Eoff, The Flight Line Chairman, and secondly just as importantly Roger N. Bishop, CPBE of the Executive Committee. Great job, great organization and a GREAT show!

Enjoy the selected warbird images from the air show including such classic WWII warbird as the P-47D Thunderbolt, Hun Hunter XVI, owned and piloted by Neal Melton, the Yakolev Yak-9 Russian fighter owned and piloted by Jim Cook, the Hawker Sea Fury Mk X, as well as four P-51 Mustangs, and the B-25A Liberator Ol-927, just to list few. There were some pleasant surprises too, such as the T-33 in Canadian colours, F-100 Super Sabre flying past, and the F-22 with 2 F-16s in formation.
