The 2009 Wings & Wheels air show in St. Thomas, in many ways is a replacement of the defunct London Air Show. While the airport is quite small it packed in a lot of static and performing aircraft, and the overflow of the participating aircraft were flown from the London (Ontario) airport. There were more American aircraft here from the USAF and Navy than at many major air shows south of the Canadian border. The attractions were the Snowbirds, the F-86 Goldenhawk, The CF-18 Century paint scheme and too many others to list.
