4th Annual Wings & Wheels Heritage Festival 2009 is a relatively small event located at the former Downsview airport, in Toronto. But despite the size it is a great event to attend if one likes aircraft and automobiles. It is one of the few places in the Toronto area where one can actually meet the pilots who fly-in their aircraft. For me, meeting Captain Sebastian Allard who flew in the CF-18 was the highlight of the event. There were a couple of WWII warbirds, and trainers, and two Cold War era aircraft from the former Warsaw Pact, a MiG-15UTi and a L-29 trainer, whose pilots I also met!

I do not have much time currently to post many images from the show or if I will make a photo CD available from the images I have taken. However, if you are interested in a selection of about 70 images from the event on a CD featuring the CF-18, Mig-15 and static images of the Avro Arrow (replica) and other WWI & WWII warbirds, e-mail me.
